Shooting Experience

It was hard for me to get close to people and be "in their face" especially when some were camera shy, so I had to look for interesting people and not make it known that I was taking a picture. When I went into the Physics class, there was alot going on and older kids that were mature enough to ignore the camera. So that made it easier to shoot.

I found it confusing trying to figure out if the camera was focused or not, when I looked into the lens everything looked clear but when i looked at the numbers I didnt know if they were right or not, luckily I had experienced photographers with me so I asked them.

When I was in the Theater class during their warm up excercises, I captured a picture of three girls in a line I tried to make it like The Rule of Thirds.

After Printing Post

I first cleaned my negatives and let it soak for a minute. Afterwards I placed it in the enlarger and made sure it was focused right, and tested the time for the light to hit the film. After finding a good time for my photo to come out looking just fine, I placed it in the enlarger and let the line shine for 7 seconds. Then I placed the film in the developer for a minute, then the stop bath for 15 seconds, then the fixer for 2 minutes. Afterwards the image began to appear clearly and it was placed in the bath for 5 minutes. =]
